Hard to hide an incubator. They make too much noise. HOWEVER, it is easy to put, say, 6 eggs in it. IF the next time he looks in it, it has.....40 eggs in it, WELL, that's chicken math. Women are MUCH better at chicken math.

I once picked up my wife for lunch (1st Wife )...in a Brand-New 4x4 Ford 1-ton pickup. She asked IF I was thinking about "buying a NEW pickup".

I said, "No, I'm not planning on buying a new pickup."

"Then WHY are you driving this?", she asked.

"Because I already bought it.", was my honest and cheerful reply.

She got ANGRY with me. "Why didn't you ask me?", she said haughtily.

"Why should I ?", I replied. "I didn't ask you to PAY for it."

I had a job (business) and worked LONG HOURS.

She stayed home and took care of the "babies".

I never got her "involved" in the financial affairs. That was MY JOB.

I didn't "meddle" with things in the "household" except by request. IF she asked for it...she got it... OR the money to buy it.

I didn't figure that I needed her permission to buy the business a NEW pickup.

I still don't.

Many people run their lives differently. That's OK with me.

People have "different ways".

NO OFFENSES intended, at all.

Yeah but definitely to each their own. We do what works for us because we are "us". If I was with married to someone else it's hard telling how my relationship dynamic would be, it just depends on the people ya know? BUT seriously on my end if my husband bought a new truck without even mentioning it to me I'd flip out! Unless of course that new truck was for MEEE!!!
