new momma Silkie yawning???

my 1-year old silkie is a new momma - 4 chicks born in last three days. today i see that she is "yawning" and shaking her head. like she has water in her ears or is trying to pop her ear drums.

anyone see anything like that before? do i need to remove babies? would they thrive after being with their momma?

any help surely appreciated.

I don't know about yawning but my concern would be infection in her lungs... especially if she has been sitting a henhouse.. dust and particles from OSB wood can irritate and cause inflammation/infection... If it were me and the chicken was fairly important I would treat her with an antibiotic.

constant yawning type behavior can be gapeworm. Google it for more information.
