Hi....We found 2 abandoned ducklings almost 3 weeks ago. Our dogs scared off the mom and she never came back. We had them inside in a huge aquarium we already had and they quickly outgrew that a couple days ago. We now have them set up in an old dog pen we also already had. It is dog and predator proof. They have their own kiddie pool and dog house. It's quite the setup for 2 orphans, but we are lovers of all animals and could never turn our backs on them. I hAve a friend who runs a farm sanctuary and when they are old enough and can fly, they will be released there.
 
Good for you. Do you have any idea what breed they are? Ducks aren't protective of their young like Canadian Geese.

They are mallard ducks. We saw the momma fly off and we waited and waited but she never came back.
