My frizzle hen sat over the last number of days and two of the eggs were hers that she sat on. They are the reddish and the yellow chick. The black one is from my solid black banty...and the other dark one is actually a gray brahma banty mixed. the rooster is a calico mix of some kind but he is a very kind rooster.
anyhow..... I just love having the new babies. This is her second batch of chicks... she was setting in January... while we had 3 feet of snow on the ground. I think these chickies will be alot happier to get to go outside before they get half as big as mom! hehe!

the days are just happier with chicks!!

Thankyou I cant say there is much more fun than a new momma and chicks running around! Will post more as they grow..... hopefully they are not all roos like last time! hehe!
