Hello Elisabeth, welcome to BYC. I have a hard time deciding. I love crested cream legbars for their friendly personalities. I've never met an unfriendly legbar. I love big Ole brahmas for their looks, and they are slow, so easy to handle. Orpingtons are very, very pretty when we'll bred. Same with langshan. And then there are naked necks, just so unique. I guess I'd have to pick mixed breeds, esp. if they have easter egger in their background.

I don't think I have a favorite chicken breed. I know there are a few I don't like the looks of, but really if any chicken or rooster is friendly that's good with me.
