new nesting box

With the recent enlargement of my flock I added 2 more nesting boxes. I didn't have the room to add them right next to the old ones so I put the new ones across(12ft)from the old ones. My question is will this matter at all.in any way shape or form? Or do I need to have them In one row? Thanks in advance.

It may or may not matter, chickens are fickle about their boxes, lol... maybe try putting some golf balls or plastic eggs in the new boxes for a little bit, they like to see that the boxes are safe to lay in...
