It’s been a few weeks and I’m doing so good! Visiting my neighbor and her chickens and looking at videos and pictures everyday! I must say I am totally excited now

We have decided to do a mix of orps and silkies!
I absolutely think the silkies are so stinking cute! And our raw fed cat will love their little eggs !

Now we’re just figuring out the coop and how if they can live together

The farmer across the road from us took a little white silkie rooster we had to get rid of. All she has is a couple dozen Brahma hens. It took about a month I think before they'd let him sleep in the coop with them. He is 1/4 the size of them but figured out how to ride them and they let him.
