Hello everyone, I am a new member and new to raising chickens. I am located in California where the sun usually shines, rains sometimes and gets fires occasionally. "Hopefully my chickens will never have to turn into chicken nuggets" as my kids would say. I am excited to be apart of this community. There is a lot for me to learn and every time I googled a question, this thread usually answers all my questions.
I have currently 5(im sure will change soon)- 9 week old chicks:
2 easter eggers (the most skittish and resilient to being picked up)
1 ameraucana (so sweet)
2 Rhode Island reds (whom are actually the nicest ones so far)
