Perfect thank you it also comes with a free thermometer the type with a cord o.o thought that was awesome it will be here by Tuesday i thought it was good and ordered it yesterday just wanted a 2nd opinion from some one experienced like you thank you

it is so frustrating o.o it is 7pm so day 11 is basically done for lil savi but i want them to be hatched already found this on youtube the guy did the full 16-17 days and basicly had one presented open for each day of incubation

Welp day 12 supposedly lil savi should be looking like this in the egg o.o hope there okay im thinking of laying them on there cloth tomorrow maybe in the afternoon or lil later for lock down do i increase humidity right then or in the morning of the 14th ? Day 0 was july 16th afternoon/evening been keeping humidity around mid 40's to high 40's to 50 on dot

Semi update o.o savi far as i know is fine I'm keeping close eye on incubator but my bulb plus extra thermometer arrived \o.o/ so heres pics the lamp base is a old one my fiance had

Okay so incubator tried to pop into the 101.5 range caught it fast thank the gods !!!! Lowered it fast and popped oped lid off few secconds candled savi saw tiny movement poped savi back in stuck my straw in the top hole for a couple drops of water on the water bottle lid i have placed next to my carton to drip water into to raise humidity got it back up to 49-50 and waited heat went a lil low and i just got it back to 99.5-99.8 rn it (fluctuates some times) nerve wrenching since im sooooooooo close to hatching my first life form o.o(button quail)

Day 13! aaaannddd savi is kicking strong got worried abd did a super quick candle on him/her and was scared at first but saw lots of veins then when i went to out it back had a feeling and held the candler light on top of it again and they were moving fiercely! Haha so hapoy i know at least once should make it so happy also here is a what they should look like today inside or the growing/work they will do today savi savi savi

I had no idea this was a hatch thread until I saw it in another thread, my eggs are also day 13, 15 coturnix.

I candled a few days ago, one looked like it was quitting, I watched it for 2 nights, and decided it probably quit but I’ll stop obsessing until lockdown on the 31st.

I think 14 are still going strong, it’s my 2nd generation. My first gen, I bought eggs on eBay and they also got lost in the mail! They arrived the afternoon of day 9 from being collected, and 23/36 went full term, 2 shrink wrapped and didn’t live, 2 had defects and died despite my best efforts. I ended up with 19, trimmed that down to 12 and the second gen is going much more smoothly. Just hang in there, hope to get enough to reproduce, and your next hatch of home growns will be way easier.

OMG the tragedy i went to go try and put the cut cloth in to lay them sideways and the twmp and humidity wasbeing sooooooo stupid that it got to the point were i just put them back in the carton for lock down so i know i can control the temp and humidity but i candled and took out what i thought was bad ones and well i guessed right but one i cut open it was at least day 9-10 but didn't make it but what has me mad at my self is one that looked liked a blood island and it wasnt moving no matter what damn it but when i used a big pair of scissors and popped off the air lid omg it was up to day in between day 13-14 i think judging by these two pics it looked like almost all guts was in like this pic of day 14 but it still had as much yolk as day 13 and today is day 13 and to top it off it was BLONDE ! Really light with one tiny tiny tiny black line running down its back from head to tail it wasn't moving even after opening it but it looked so developed i can't tell if it was alive !!! Even took it out of shell after debating in my head to incubate it even though it was open and for some reason it was sideways in a circle if that makes since like looking down from the top were the air sack used to be its basicly on its side curled in a circle and no i didnt take pics i was stressing on incubator too much to make savi survive and such but after that i ended up putting these other 2 eggs back in the incubator which i am now not sure on cuz they look very similar to the one that had the blonde chick and i dont wanna chance opening them up and savi having no friends like savi is the only egg that moves inside so idk humidity is at 65 temps at 99.6 lets see what happens in these next 3 days since Saturday is day 16 if u don't count day 0 wish at least savi luck to survive everyone
