We went to Lowe's and went through at least 100 boards and came home with 33 decent ones. By decent I mean straight and smooth-ish, there's not going to be dry-wall covering these up, just some paint. We're going to try a different Lowe's tomorrow to get the remaining boards we need. It was a bit too much work to do all at once. It's also raining this afternoon. I covered the floor with some tarp just to be extra safe with it. They didn't have any T1-11 plywood, but I am pretty sure this other Lowe's does. We also got some more screws as we are going through them at a fast rate here.

I can't wait to see the walls and roof on. If I ever build another coop, I want one like yours. Very cool!

Floor Installed. We positioned the floor pieces and screwed them all down on 16" centers, with a couple of extra screws where we thought it would help. I've put plastic sheeting over it for now, clamped down with clampy things and a couple of pavers in the middle for good measure. Walking around on it, it feels like a pretty decent floor. Nice.

It's been way too rainy here to get much done. We did not go and get more materials, the missus was not up for it. She's off on a trip tomorrow until Wednesday, so we're planning on doing a big push on the construction on Friday, which she has free. So hopefully we'll get a lot done that day.
