This has been going on for 3 weeks. She won't have anything to do with the other chickens. She eats and drinks appears to be very healthy. Is she broody you think?

I caught her laying on 3 eggs. Is she broody?
Sitting for days on end usually means you've got a broody hen on your hands. Broodies will puff up nice and big and screech when you get close to their nest. She'll only leave the nest every once in a while to eat, poop, and occasionally do some normal chicken activities, while sounding like a ticking time bomb in the process. Is there a chance that the eggs are fertile?

She's not acting like that just yet. Yes, there is a very good chance they are. The rooster won't stay off of her. But I take the eggs daily. Soon as I open the hatch she runs out.

Thats what I'm thinking too. She acts very paranoid around him.

@aart it normal for a rooster to spur or attack a very rude bossy head hen. Off subject
He sounds like a candidate for 'dinner' to me.
Might try isolating him and see how the girls all get along.

How many and how old are all these birds?
How long have you had them all?
How much space do they have in coop and run, in feet by feet?
Dimensions and pics would help here.
