New (OLD) Cabinet Incubator

Interesting , I never saw a thermostat like that in an incubator. Do you think that is original or a replacement part..

I don't know for sure, I have never seen a big cabinet incubator before. On the bright side, she's holding steady at 99 degrees so that's good. Humidity is slowly climbing and reads 43% which I believe is close to where I need to be. Here's a pic of stat installed.

Yeah 98-99 now. I have one hole near fan and heating element and two holes on front door that slide open and closed. What's the trick to raise humidity? All doors closed? Half open? 46% is highest I have so far with 3 pans of water on the floor of the cabinet.

That's a big incubator, unless it was full of egg the vents won't need to be open much. Make sure the door gasket is sealing. You could try sponges in the water pans to increase the surface area . I'm not a fan of using sponges but they will raise the humidity. Most of my experience is with smaller cabinet incubators.
