Hi all,
I'm OkmOKDado3.

Started an account at least more than 5 years ago, but my family of two, at the time, moved and weren't able to bring our 4 hens with us. So, 6 years later, with some hopefully permanent roots down and some cool neighbors, my wife suprises me today with a few 2 day old chicks.
We have 2 Black Astralorps & 1 Ameraucana.

We currently have no coop, run, or anything to keep them in when they get bigger, but I've got a few weekends before that deadline hits.

Going by the "New Member Intro" suggestions:
We live about 45 min. from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I'm an aluminum MIG welder in Tulsa and my wife has recently become a domestic engineer again (which prompted our new chicken adventure).

As far as hobbies go, we're both pretty introverted and like our lil spot. Besides 3 kids under the age of 8 keep our days close to full enough as it is. Plus 3 dogs running guard duty around the place. We do plan on having the chickens assist us with starting a backyard garden as well. So that, whenever I get around to that too.
