New owner of 5 American game hens...help.

I've recently taken in some abandoned American game hens and I was wondering are they good egg layers? Also what would be a good feed for egg productivity?

I don't think they're good layers... are they?

They can produce 60 to 120 eggs a year. My hen that set 3 clutches, successfully brooding two, has produced 48 eggs so far and appears to be preparing to lay again despite going into a molt. She is free range. Confined hens do not do so well unless feed poored to them. If not allowed to brood, then higher end of range can be approached.
