How cute!

They're already looking snug in that brooder. You'll need to upgrade them to bigger box within the next week or two. I'd also consider separating the ducklings from the chicks so once they are 3-4 weeks old so no one gets injured (ducklings grow very fast and can accidently smoosh the chicks when trying to snuggle).
Thanks for that. Problem is, I don't know how old the ducklings are. I saw them at the local tractor supply store. Which is where I got the other 5 chicks as well. Can they not be together in the same "house" once older?

Ducks need their own quarters, they need a lot of water and make a mess of the coop which chickens can't tolerate. Ducks eat different food, and if you have any drakes, should they mate with a chicken hen, it can kill her with their "equipment". So it's best to house Ducks in their own coop.

The ducklings are no more than a week old.

There is a lot of debate about keeping ducks and chickens in the same pen. Many people don't because drakes can injure and kill hens while trying to mate with them. Ducks are also very messy and love making mud, while chickens prefer to be dry. I do keep my chickens and ducks together and have yet to have any major problems.

I prefer brooding chicks and ducklings separate because of the size difference and the mess ducklings make. If you do separate them but later decide you want to house them in the same quarters again, they can be integrated back together. Do your research and figure out what works best for you. I'd advice checking out the Learning Center and threads for information. Let us know if you need anything more.
