new pea chick mom

Hello i have raised chickens for years and we recently added a few peahens and a guinea hen to our home. i have them in a seperate coop right now as i figure they are around 8 weeks old. we are looking to build a "pea pen" soon but would like to allow them to have the option to free range any advice would be appreciated ! thank you

Make the pen as big as space and budget can afford. Make sure the roof is covered because they will fly out if it isn't. As for free ranging to sum it up never free range a bird that you're not prepared to lose. Peafowl are very accident prone and dogs, coyotes, foxes, large owls, angry neighbors with guns, cars, and coons take their toll.

Will the birds come back to roost at night like chickens. We are building a pen but would like to allow them to roam a bit to eat and explore.
