New peacock pen :)

It is when we do not worry that it happens LMAO! I just don't want to hear the worse. If you have a shelter to place them in when you get your first storm please put them in and see how it holds up and go from there. I had a tree in my pen that was huge, been there many many years as the tree was full grown. I was told to cut it down and I said that I was not worried about it cause it lasted all these years and when last October came the tree fell and crushed my 50 foot by 65 foot pen. I just finished replacing all the broken parts and redoing the breeding pens. Trust me when I tell you, if it can happen it will. I usually leave my peas out and they sleep in the perches but for some reason I put them all inside the shed that night. Thank God I did cause they would've been crushed to death if not by the tree by the netting that was so tightly crushed down from the tree that it actually cracked the timbers. So please keep my experience in the back of your mind and "test" the pen for snow stress. 2 inches of wet snow and do lots of damage with netting. You can read about what happened to mine by searching my topics threads.

I remember that day, didn't you just get finished with the pen?
The pen he built is nice looking i am hopping the neighbors dogs are able to keep the critters away from it cause any of my dogs could get into that pen easily.
