New peacock: wildest boy ever

Y’all how can I tame my new peacock? Right when I thought I was making progress, I clipped his wings and put him in the chicken run, he ran off and DISAPPEARED FOR TWO DAYS. We JUST found him. Any training tips so he knows his boundaries and is calm with staying at home?

Such a pretty boy! I don't have much experience with peacocks besides them chasing me for a tuna sandwich, but hopefully someone on here can give some helpful tips!

Never clip wings. He will settle down in his own time or maybe not at all. Each bird is different.

Only reason I clipped his wings is because the first night I put him out he flew into a tree bordering our property and our ornery neighbors property. I didn’t want it happening again because I didn’t need the neighbors “accidentally” keeping him simply because he flew into their yard in the morning.
