New peafowls

Hi everyone i got new peachicks one male who is 3 months old and one female who is 2 months old. I got them a week ago and i was wondering if i can clip their wings and open them and let them roam free in the house but im really scared cuz im afraid they will fly away. I is safe to open them? Tho i have a dog but hes usually inside sleeping.

clipping wings is not a good thing in peafowl. They can still jump over 6ft. and it keeps them from being able to escape predators.

Thank you and the cage is big enough for the male to display when he grows up and the walls are 8 foot in height one wall is over 11 foot

There is no danger of predators because there are no raccoons foxes feral dogs or hawks in the area i live in the only predator are cats but our dogs keeps thwm away at night also they are only 2-3 months old will they be able to fly that high with one winv clipped?

Also is it okay to clip the front flight feathers and leave the rest?
