New pens

I just finished two new pens for my chickens. One is a pen for meaties and one is an almost
finished breeder pen. The nesting box needs finished and I'm going to be putting steel siding on the roof and back. It is sloped to help water roll off.


The black one is the breeder pen.

The center partition on the meaty pen isn't finished yet either. It will enable me to hold them in the one end to catch them.

Chicken wire won't do much to protect the chickens.

Have you planned for roosting bars?

Working in the roosts, I've only had chicken wire for years and had nothing try to get in the pens I've used it on.
