New Pets! *Reptile Warning!* *DUW too, haha*

Thanks for getting back to me, Jordan.. I totally understand ....why look at humans when there's so many cool critters to gaze at

Your Crested looks patternless to me ..from what I can see. It could be a tiger or a brindle and the pics are just not showing that. As for color ...it is hard to say when they are so small ..and when it is daylight. Check it out when it's active at night ..it should "fire up" to a brilliant color ...deep chocolate.. maybe really nice golden yellow ....or even a fiery red. It's just hard to say when they aren't "fired up" ..and when they are so young.

I'll try to find some example pics of some of mine ..not fired and fired.... or just go check out my photobucket with my same username ..no apostrophe in it and all one word. It's public ..should be able to get right to it. Hit "view all" and you'll see random shots of my past "kidlets" and some present. (One day, I'll sit here long enough to categorize all my piccies

Thanks, Julio! Thanks Thanks!

GaDawg, I paid $40 for her. Im not sure whether or not that is a good price, but I had to have her, haha. As for the size, Im not 100% sure. I've read 4-5 ft, so we shall see!

Thanks, Lauren! I really hope you can get a snake someday, they are amazing pets. I would have loved to get a Ball Python, but I know my mom really doesnt like those so I was trying to be nice since she let me get one, lol. I saw Leucistic(sp) Rat snakes for $40 as well, so Im assuming that is a normal price range. As for the care, I believe it is pretty similiar to a corn. Atleast that is what I was told! I've seen corns referred to as Red Rat Snakes before, so I dont think they are much different than a Corn at all! Thanks again, Lauren.

No problem, Aminah! Haha, I seriously cant remember their faces at all!

Ok, that makes sense. He's got pretty much no pattern at all, so patternless works, haha. I went and checked him out, it was about 8:30 when I did, and it looks the same to me. But he is pretty young, so we shall see! I checked out your photobucket, you have some beautiful herps! Thanks for all of the help. Let me know if you wind up getting any WS Rats!

Well, I don't think $40. is bad at all for something you really want and it will last you several years. right
Post pics as it grows.

Your snake is beautiful. And tiny!! So cute.

I'd love to have a snake, but I fear my husband would leave me, LOL.

And the gecko is just adorable. I love the "eyelashes"!!

Thanks for sharing-
Em

edited to add: I'd name her Grace. It's immediately what came to mind when I saw her. Good luck!!

Tell your sister to be careful with the crested they have a tendacy to drop there tails and they don't grow back like other geckos! They all look beautiful!

Jordan there's a reptile show up here in petaluma on the 27th. Im guessing you won't be going since you just went to one lol but i figured i'd ask if you are anyway?

GaDawg, that is how I looked at it! That way I didnt feel so bad spending the money, lol. I definitely will, I love taking photos of my snakes.

Thanks, Menagerie! I agree, she does look like a pearl, lol.

Thank You, Em! My parents always said no snakes, and this one is #7. I think somewhere in my life their minds cracked and I drove them insane, LOL. Im pretty sure I've settled on a name, but Im not 100% positive!

Equi, I actually have a Bearded Dragon! I'm way more addicted to snakes though, lol.

Thanks, CK. We know about the tails, the adult male she held first had no tail. I've read up quite a bit on them before she even considered one, so we shall see how it goes!

Thanks, Ewe!

Madison, I checked it out and I cant make it. Its pretty far away, and I have plans for the 27th. Im serious, next year you have to drive to Sacramento, haha. It was so much better than San Jose, I dont think my sis will want to go back there.
