Oddly enough the female rat out of the group we just adopted is giving birth as we speak! The previous owners said she had been kept seperate from the boys...she has been seperated since she came here. we had debated about allowing her to have a litter but after researching and realizing they she was probably over 1yr. we decided against it.

will post photos soon... wish me luck...or wish Bonnie luck! Bonnie is a beautiful well tempered dumbo siames.

Just be careful putting your hand in the cage. Beautifully tempered rats can try to take a finger off after having babies. Mine turned into a monster for a while.

we adopted her and the 4 boys in her family. They are all dumbos.

1 black dumbo. 1 siamese Dumbo and on dove colored Dumbo rex. I HOPE the rex is the father, but they all have great temperments so any of them would be fine.

I will watch my fingers!
