...We live across the street from a group home and the chickens like to go visit.

I like to say " did you put the hens to bed yet?" One night my hubby went to put them in and 1 hen made him chase her all over the horse paddock before he finally caught her. Needless to say it's usually me who puts them in for the night now unless I escape from the house and am out shopping when the sun goes down

From a guy that didn't want them.

We all call them the girls around here, since I have four boys.

My boy just came in from checking on eggs and said "fresh from the oven". It was still warm.
