I’ve posted about this chick before, but back story for those that didn’t see it. I found this chick pecking around my backyard and I have no clue where it came from. It’s mine now lol and I’m learning as I go. I don’t know exact age or sex but a member of this group suggested that it may be a Russian Orloff and I believe they were right! Any guesses on age and gender would be greatly appreciated! If I need to take better or different pics let me know. Thanks in advance!

Really??? I really hope it’s a pullet as I have no idea what to do with a rooster or hatching eggs when I do finally get some friends for my chick lol.
Oh and also what do you mean by stunted? Please excuse my ignorance, but I’m a newbie. Like the runt of the litter?

Like maybe it had poor nutrition for a while. Not recently, I mean, as it looks healthy and has nice glossy feathers. But the feather growth is a bit off and thin for its size.

Ahh ok that makes sense! I have no idea where the poor dear came from or how long they (there were initially 2 chicks in my yard but one didn’t make it) they had been traveling. They found the right lady though cause I take in all the strays lol
