I don't know what breed they are. I thought DH would ask,when he picked them up, but he didn't

I'd say they weigh about 30lbs now.

we raised one, IN the house for the first 6 months, knew how to turn on the water faucet, ran the well dry and everything.

and while she's a good 300+ pounds now (durroc potbelly mix)

we ain't eating her LOL

Its simple. When you get the animal, tell yourself it is for meat. Then everytime you see the animal remind yourself it is for meat.

I have pet goats, and meat goats. Pet cows, and meat cows. Same thing.

At the moment I have 12 bottle babies - 11 of which I go out, kiss, cuddle and love on, all the while telling myself they are meat. The 12th one I go out, kiss and cuddle and love on, all the while telling myself she gets to stay as a breeder.
