Gardenia caught something out of the glimpse of her eye, someone darting between the trees. She leaned over and whispered into Keeper's ear. "Did you see that creature? I'm not sure if they are following us, should we tell the Sire?" Keeper bolted forward to catch up to the mare and spoke loudly. "Sire! I am afraid we are being followed."

Kaydar awoke from his memories with a start, jerking back on the mare's reigns and spinning her about. He snarled as she raced back the way they had come, catching sight of a green clad figure between the trees. He leaned out of his saddle, grabbing hold of the creature by the waist and hoisting her up onto his shoulder before racing back to where the Centaur and Pixie stood waiting.

Rose had no time to react when she was scooped up. Instincts soon kicked in though, and she struggled frantically

Kaydar shifted the weight of the creature, looking at her from the corner of his eye and grunted. When she began to struggle he swept his right wing out from under his cloak, lightly smacking her in the leg with the side of his wing in an attempt to get her to be still. "Who are you and why do you follow us?" He growled menacingly.

Rose gave a swift kick after being hit with his wing. She scowled "I'm not following anyone, and none of your business. Put me down!"
