Kaydar grumbled. "It's the work of a D'Jinn, one whom I once knew personally. Somehow you have come under his power, that is why you cannot remember your past. Have faith, Youngling, the effects are only temporary. All shall return to you with time."

Gardinia sat up straight "A ...what? And...why ME? How long will the effects last? Is there something that can be done, to help me remember? I have to find my brother, but I don't know where to start. Can you help me?"

T'lan walked on the outside of the city of Puralay, dragging her hand on the wall as she went. The stone turned a hot red, marking her trail, but it didn't worry her. Anyone who attempted to harm her was no match.

(Match heheheheh. Heh heh. Puns)

Lucas followed along behind the Jinn, glancing nervously at the trail that she left behind. He bit his lip, sweeping off his velvet cap and crumbling it in his hands. "Are you sure that is wise, Milady? The guards have it out for us already, if they see the scars upon the stone....?"

((Nudges the lava Jinn))

<Gardenia It might help if I could spell LoL>

Kaydar shook his head, looking in front of them once more. "A D'Jinn is a creature of power and mystery. They have the ability to control either water or air. The one in particular that I knew had the ability to make people forget. I do not know for certain how long the effects last, only that they fade. Someone did this to you, Youngling, I do not know who. I don't it was the D'Jinn himself, he was a good fellow at heart. Someone used him to do this, of that I am certain. I know of only one person who can help you remember and it is the Jinn T'lan. She is the mirror image of Nal'T, his opposite. She is the reason he cannot remember and has the ability to steal others memories as well. I do not truly know how they are connected, they are called Twins but not brother and sister. I never meddled in the affairs of D'Jinn and Jinn, as a whole their race was too strange, too self serving for my tastes. My wife Ellayn knew much about them, Nal'T was her closest friend and advisor. The two had grown up together, she helped him to remember who he was. But that was long ago, I am sure that he has forgotten who he is. Yes, T'lan is your only answer, Youngling, it is her or wait for your memories to sort themselves out."

A small laugh rang out from around the corner as T'lan realized that she had followers.

((You know how spriggens laugh in elder scrolls (mainly oblivion)? That's how T'lan sounds when she laughs.))

((Creepy, lol, those things scared me to death.))
Lucas felt a chill run down his spine, even though he adored the Jinn her laughter made him break out in a cold sweat. Something about her laugh was terrifying. "Milady, the guards....?"

Gardenia set shaking her head "I don't understand, why would someone try to make me forget, what has happened in my life that could be that important?" She was really just speaking her thought aloud. Not really expecting an answer. "How can I find T'lan and why would she even help me?"

((Dude I love the way spriggens laugh.... Unless your playing in the middle of the night...))

A snake of fire ran across the ground, and circled the two of them. It could easily be put out, it was more of a warning than a statement.

((That's when I usually play, rofl. Adds to the excitement of it.))

Lucas jumped when the fire encircled them, gathering up his cloak and stamping out the small embers upon it. He hated it when she used this show of force. "Milady, what have I done to anger you?"
