Seeing that Lucas was asleep, T'lan let her gaurd down. Her face showed sadness as she watched him. T'lan writhed she could relax like that, not have to worry about killing everything she touched. She was cursed to cause pain, but she didn't want that. She stared up at the sky longingly, lost in her thoughts.Lucas smiled, glad that his greed had not gotten the better of him. He sat down upon a large rock at the edge of the pond, stripping off his boots and letting his feet dangle in the water. He loved the calm of this place, the beauty of it. It amazed him that such a fine jewel could be hidden within the wood. Seemingly untouched by any creature save the jewel like fish. He closed his eyes, laying back on the stone and letting himself slip I to a dream.
