Gardenia shook herself awake from her memories just in time to hear Keeper speak up. "I'm afraid that I do not have a lot to tell. The Elves stole me from my mother when I was very young and I worked for them for the last ten years of my life. Taking care of their prisoners, hauling their firewood, taking care of whatever they asked of me. I was already in the camp when they brought in Gardenia. She was in some sort of daze for almost a fortnight. She did not speak, she barely ate or drank. I took care of her the best that I could. Her daze seemed to clear after the fourteenth day. She still did not speak, but her eyes would meet mine. I did not speak at that time either, I did not want the Elves to know that I could. I just wanted them to think that I was a mute animal to carry out simple tasks. As the time passed I realized that I had thought as a child and I had begun to see what was going on around me. How evil the Elves were and how cruel they were to Gardenia. I was trying to figure out a way to escape, but I could not leave my friend behind. That is when you arrived, Sire, and you saved us both." Gardenia nodded and said. "There is nothing that i can really add to that, unfortunately I have very few memories of my past. Other than the fact that I have a brother that I am hoping to find someday. What about you, Rose, do you have any family?"
Upon being spoken to, Rose snapped out of her day dreaming and answered, "I do, actually. I'm not sure if you would want to know my story though" She added, blocking all emotion from her voice and face as was her custom when thinking about her past

Kaydar felt sorrow for the Younglings' past. A rumble sounded deep in his chest as a thought struck him. "Tell me, Gardenia, your memories, does your lack of them come from an injury? Or do you not know what has caused the lapse in time?" He leaned to the right, making sure to avoid the clearing ahead. There seemed to be a village within it. If he did not have to stay to the forest he could have made it to Puralay in less than two days time. But he could not risk being seen, so the longer route it was. Better than by ground, even the fastest horse would take a week to get to Puralay. "Yes, Lady Rosemaey, tell us of life at your manor? Of which House do you hail?"

Gardenia looked into Keeper's eyes as she spoke to Kaydar. "The thing is I do not know. The last memory that I can recall is my brother and I playing hide and seek in Glaydess. The next thing that happened as far as I know the Elves had me in that horrible cage, and Keeper was offering me something to eat. Please, Rose, tell us your story, it will help to get to know each other.."

T'lan walked on the outside of the city of Puralay, dragging her hand on the wall as she went. The stone turned a hot red, marking her trail, but it didn't worry her. Anyone who attempted to harm her was no match.

(Match heheheheh. Heh heh. Puns)

Lucas followed along behind the Jinn, glancing nervously at the trail that she left behind. He bit his lip, sweeping off his velvet cap and crumbling it in his hands. "Are you sure that is wise, Milady? The guards have it out for us already, if they see the scars upon the stone....?"

((Lol, thanks!))

Kaydar blinked, craning his neck so as to look Rosemary in the eyes. "You mean to say you are not of noble blood? You are certain?"

Gardenia looked into Keeper's eyes as she spoke to Kaydar. "The thing is I do not know. The last memory that I can recall is my brother and I playing hide and seek in Glaydess. Kaydar grumbled. "It's the work of a D'Jinn, one whom I once knew personally. Somehow you have come under his power, that is why you cannot remember your past. Have faith, Youngling, the effects are only temporary. All shall return to you with time."

Rose nodded firmly. "Most deffinatly" She found his surprise rather surprising herself, but was not about to let it show

Kaydat began to shrug his massive shoulders but thought better of it, not sure how the inexperienced riders would react. Ellayn would have merely shifted her weight to stay perched upon his back, but she had decades of experiance. "Your manor and clothing made me believe you were of one of the Houses. Do forgive me, La.... Rosemary. I suppose it would be considered an insult to be counted among nobility in this day and age. Tell me more of your small wooden home."
