Hey,

My husband and I bought 2 lovely hens yesterday. They went into their run after a few hours. However, today they have stayed in their coop and look a bit sad...maybe I'm just worrying too much - is this all normal? I've put they feeder and drinker in the coop as I was worried they may get hungry or should it stay outside. Any advice to a newbie would be great.

They are just in a new place, give them a few days to get used to their new environment and they'll be fine. It also wouldn't hurt to put a little scratch just outside the door into the run in a day or two just to encourage them. Have fun with your new girls!
