new pond enclosure

Ducks arrived, new pond enclosure not finished. Option two put into play. Band any species I already have so I can separate later, put them in the existing pen till new enclosure finished. So far everything looks good.
Pretty crowded for a few days.

My pair of mandarins thinking: there goes the neighborhood.

Unfortunately, no. IT IS CLOSE. Holidays, friends, weather (drizzle, no actual rain that I am in desperate need for) lazy, bla bla bla. (DONE IS BETTER THAN GOOD). Birds arrived already, option two put into play (actually like all the ducks interacting). When/if ever finished, have decided to put a door between existing pen and new pond enclosure and leave it open to see who ends up where. Will post pic. of progress tomorrow and Finish--When???
Actually, if weather permits at both ends, new ducks being shipped to me on the 6th. Smew, Biakel teal (WI) redheads, am. widgeon, brazilian teal (MN). So there is no option two. Wednesday the 8th is deadline.

whatnext is a good name for you and your deadline project, goodness good thing you live in south Texas at least you are still able to do things outside most of us have frozen tundra. Look forward to seeing completed project and new birds too. Such a treat.

hahahaha, you didnt get mine, its colder here then i have ever seen it. we are going to have -10 this week and i still have to go out in it and feed, water, clean. Man UP !!! you can do it! lol

There is a saying in south Texas, if you don't like the weather, wait a day. We're going to be in the 70's saturday.
Isn't -10 degrees close to absolute zero, where all molecular motion ceases.::

Poor baby, we're at -7 with the white stuff and it isn't sand. looking so good your very close now and think how much the birds are going to enjoy all that space. and you can admire your hard work while drinking your thawed beer.
