New Posts in a Thread

I'm following several posts that are very large. Previously, there was an option to go to the new posts in a thread. I don't see that with the new platform. Am I missing it, or has it gone away?

I'm confused by that too. I thought there was an option but the only two options I can see are to go to the first or the last post in the thread....

To the left of the list of threads is a little icon, if there is a green arrow there are new posts, clicking that icon takes you to the first new post.

The problem is that icon doesn't seem to be there for all views. I have finally found that option by going to a view that shows the threads I've previously posted in. But when I am viewing by other criteria, that icon is missing.
