New Predator

Believe me... I have no love for raccoons.

Last night a coyote dug up a cat I buried a couple weeks ago after he died of natural causes. I rescued him when he was just a kitten and was devastated when he died.I loathe coyotes with a passion and raccoons too

All they are is a furry overgrown rat.

I'm contacting DNR about these this week. They've gotten too lazy to hunt normal prey

You might be able to get a nuisance permit from the DNR.

In the meantime... Get a box trap and put half of a banana in the back of the trap.

LOL I'm not really sure what dug our cat up but whatever it was moved rocks off his grave and carried him off.I was so upset I ranted and raved all day

I agree about putting out cameras. I was convinced it was a bobcat tearing up my coops because I didn't think a dog would jump over a chain link fence and on top of one small low coop to tear into a higher one were it wasn't reinforced. Cameras proved I was dealing with a very determined pit bull. I also had a mink that killed twice, both times he ate from the head down to the torso. Minks can get into small holes, climb and swim. Raccoons leave prints and a mess.
