new project araucana /longtail

I am thinking I would like to increase the saddle feathers on my tailess araucanas, so I plan to place my araucana roo with my yoko hens and the yoko roo over the araucana hens. Cull for the apparent things like tails, and egg color leg color and such.has anyone tried to do this before? What were your results?

I have never heard of anyone doing it, but it sounds like a very interesting project! Yokos and Auracnas have the same comb type right? Thats always something to watch for when crossing breeds. I have seen some very unusual, though undesirable, combs when cross breeding. Good luck
