A carrier is a bird which would "carry" the disease after the illness is over. Keep them separate from your other birds. They need to stay separate for a month for the quarantine period anyways. (It's always best to quarantine new birds for a month before introducing them to your existing flock) If you have some Oxine, then mist their faces down daily with it. On the lighter side, this is what my honker gave me last night! Our first green egg! Still pretty small compared to the large store bought egg but, a lovely color...
How do you frame a chicken egg?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, that's nice! Always a good sign when they lay an egg...I always feel they are at least at a healthy basal level!
