new pullets with lice

i just picked up 3 12wk old pullets yesterday, have them in a varikennel and was looking them over...full of lice! i dusted with permethrin poultry dust..my girls have never had this problem..how long do i wait before they can be integrated into the flock..do they need more than one treatment?

Yes treat them twice if not 3 times 7-10 days apart so that when the eggs hatch you get them too. The dust does not get the eggs. More than one treatment is necessary.
