New puppy!

Zoey will be bred. And I know a lot of people will get mad about that, but we have bred dogs before. And we did get breeding rights for Zoey. Zoey is registered with AKC (her full name is 'princess Zoey' Lol)We know she'll have good puppies, her temperament is great! She comes from a champion bloodline. Her father was gorgeous, he had ice blue eyes, so some of her puppies should have blue eyes.
But of course that's all in the future once we find a good male and once there old enough.

And who knows? I might show her

Nah, I think that's really cool actually! I think as long as they're registered and are good examples of the breed and/or come from good bloodlines/stock and good health, temperament, etc. it's fine. I only have problems when people just throw dogs together with no care lol now other people just hate all breeding so I can't speak for them.

And that'd be cool! You should definitely show her! :)

Have you ever thought about like agility or frisbee or obedience or dock diving or anything? If I had one I'd do everything :lau

Totally agree! That's why we're looking for an acceptable male

Yes!! I would love to do agility with her. In the summer I'd like to set up an agility course in our backyard (nothing fancy, just some hoops, ramps and poles probably). And I'll see if there's any places around here for agility

I think she's going to be really good looking when she's an adult.

We plan on fencing in the backyard due to going to be having 3 dogs too lol

I hope you find one!

That sounds like a good idea! You can make your own equipment too, there's tons of ideas online. A lot cheaper. But finding a trainer would be a good idea too. Can help teach basics, foundation, etc. And there's loads of good books and videos on YouTube too.

Yeah, I bet she'll be gorgeous. :)

That's a good idea!!

Thanks!

I would like to get a male Merle for her. Sense she's not a Merle and she's really dark, so it would work out really good. Plus I love the coloring of a Merle! Lol

I think a merle with her would look really nice! And you'd probably get a lot of different colors too! And it's not merle to merle so no health problems or deafness or anything. I think it would produce really nice puppies! Or if you can't find a merle, I think something lighter, like maybe a red, would look nice :)

Yeah I really like the red Merle's, but the blue Merle's aren't bad either. We love Merle's so our female had to be a tri Lol. Her sister was a red tri blue eyed. We considered her but it was Zoey in the end :)

Yeah, I love merles haha couldn't you have gotten a merle female and a tri boy? :p but wow, she sounds gorgeous but Zoey is too :)

She was cute! We were looking for both Merle's and tris just as long as one was a tri and one was a Merle. We found Zoey first. It's super hard finding a dog that looks good, reasonable price, breeding rights, and is at least within 5 hours Lol

We drove 4 hours for Zoey. The breeders of Zoey want to do a puppy reunion next year, it may be far but I'd like to go :)

I bet she is! And ohhh okay, that makes sense. Well, I think you made a good choice! Lol

And I think you should go! :) it wouldn't be too bad if it was just once a year or once every few rather than like weekly or monthly and it'd be fun haha

Yeah I would love to! Hopefully we can!

Just got Zoey's mate! He was shipped in from Texas (poor puppy was in a crate the entire day), from these people who breed aussies for herding. The man who breeds them breeds them to be 'big boned' so this puppy is just a bit 'stalkier' then Zoey. But he's adorable I just love his markings! He is a blue Merle but doesn't have a lot of grey in him (his brother looked like a regular blue Merle, but we like him better) his face is looks brown. His mother is a beautiful Merle, I can't tell if she's red or blue, she looks like a brown Merle!

the father and mother are both great looking standard aussies. The puppy (we named him Duke, ya know, from john Wayne? Huge john Wayne fans over here lol)
Is about 5 months old, sadly a bit older then we wanted but at least it's not like he's full grown

a bit skittish but probably he just needs to settle in with his new surroundings. He loves Zoey's crate for some reason

Here's a picture of Duke:

Here is him meeting Daisy (Daisy is not happy that we keep on getting other dogs

she prefers to be an only dog, she gets jealous lol)
