You can make a slurry from their feed by mixing it with warm water (or electrolytes or even a quail egg) and dribble (with a needle-less syringe or straw etc.) some at the corners of its beak until it swallows instinctively - have done this with a few birds/chicks and it seems to be effective in giving them the nutrition and liquids they need to get over whatever problem is causing them to not thrive at the time.
Keep it up every hour or so and hopefully it will get enough strength back in a day or so to start feeding itself! Eventually they will look for the syringe slurry and then you can make it thicker for them to gobble up.
