Great thanks so much for the advice I will follow thatP.S.: I also start in the 4th week with 10% pellets 90% starter and change every day 10%. So with 5 and a half week I am in pellets only.
Working perfect.

Why pellets?
You do realize that the vast majority of quail owners including very large hatcheries feed crumbles and not pellets right? You're more than welcome to feed them whatever you want but don't think it's better to feed pellets over crumble. My experience is, that Quails are eating very selectiv.
With pellets I am safe, that they get all the nutrition they need.

There's no "nutritional" difference between pellets and crumble. They contain the same ingrediants, you just choose what texture you prefer. For quail it's crumbles...
I gotcha. Yeah I misunderstood you.Oh, this is a missunderstanding. I ment the starter crumbles. Of course crumbled breeder pellets are also homogen nutritions, and maybe more preffered by the birds.
I am fine with pellets, my quails love it ... ok, they are of course used to it![]()
