Hell, I'm Leon. I got six quail eggs at a reptile expo the other day, and I'm trying my hand at incubating them. I candled them and three of them were clear and likely not fertile, but the other three are heavier and look like they could have something growing in them! I'm using a cheap little giant incubator and I've been hand-rotating them. There's also a separate thermometer + hygrometer in there since the little giant one is trash. I'm not optomistic that my first incubation attempt will be successful seeing as how many variables have to go right, so I'm considering getting more eggs and some more thermometers + hygrometers.
Glad you joined.
Good luck!
Wishing you luck!
