as I live in southeast Tennessee, 96 degrees with matching humidity has been hard on the birds feather loss has been rather bad, and they just are hating life Misters help a bit, but a steady 78 degrees is more their cup of tea
As I sell quite a few eggs and birds, I felt they earned the right to have a normal house with AC and electric and a fan in it.
This is just the house that is finally done, I Have a small wall Unit AC in there, with timer lights As you can see 2 windows allow daylight thru, flies are still an issue, but a bit easier to control now
There is about 48 hens and 12 roos in there, and also my incubator and brooder are in there The babies are in there til 3 weeks old, then outside under the carport they go
Ill post other pics as I finish the insulation up, but they have the AC, a fan, I put a screen door on there for when the weather gets better, and I can leave the door and windows open for a better blast of fresh air
