New Rat babies

Last night Dream had her babies

After I got off I walked into the room at 11:50 and she was having her last baby.
She had 15 total,all alive.
8 are light eyed, 7 are dark eyes. All look heathly and have nice milk bands.
Dream is being a great momma to them all.

Only certain colors can have ruby eyes and others can only have black.
I'm hoping for some Chocolates which can only have black eyes and some fawns which can only have ruby eyes.

Now, let me preface this by saying I love rats and had many as pets growing up. But ever since watching my chickens massacre a pinky mouse, all I can think of when I see that pic is Wow, my girls would have a whole lotta fun with those!

My friend had some rats she rescued from her job (Lab tech), the "Ratty Boys" who lived for may years and were a HOOT! Good Luck!

There should be some hairliess babies in there once they start getting their fur.

Very cute, I love rats.

Though you should give her a better hide and more bedding material to build a better nest, she'll be much happier and less freaked out about her babies.
