I have 7 chickens that are almost full grown but not quite. A few weeks ago I got 3 rhode island red hens to add in from a friend. They were supposedly laying about 1 egg a day each when taken care of. They got rid of them because their boys were not taking proper care of them. I have had them 2 weeks now and only I only got 1 egg! They were not being fed consistently before and I'm sure the moved stressed them, but I figured they would be up and laying again by now. Anyone have an idea of how long it will take them to start again? they are 2 years old.
