Wow, thank you all so much for the warm welcome and words of wisdom. Not true to my word, but true to my desire, a rooster all but fell into my lap yesterday. Delivered to my door up the mountain in an animal crate. I set the crate in the coop last night and will introduce him today. He is clean. No bugs. Feels cool having my first bird
