Don't have my chickens yet, but am 2/3rds of the way through constructing a 6' X 8' coop inside of a former dog run.
I started with honeybees two years ago, and around April 1 we will be getting six started pullets. Going with two Buff Orpingtons, two Welsummers, and two Easter Eggers.
My neighbors are excited at the prospect of fresh eggs...

Welcome! Look at you doing things in the right order. I surprised my husband with chicks and said we need to build a coop now.
