New rooster to flock

So little update - I had him in his small pen next to the hen run for 3 days. He was pacing up and down today and scratching at the fence. Since I was out there cleaning I put him in with just the hens for a bit and there was no sign of aggression from ether of them. Then I put the chicks in, again nothing pointing to aggression. Left them for a bit, came back and the hens/roo were all sleeping together in a small pile. I guess that is all it took was a little separation time.
