New rooster to hens

Good morning chicken lovers!!
I was going through my threads and decided to update them since I left them hanging.
Once things work out, I think it’s a good idea to let people know.

We made some modifications to our run to allow Boss to be outside and inside right next to the ladies.
We decided to make it semi-permanent since this was taking a while.
After working all day one Sunday, we let him out the next morning next to them, and I went to work.
Later that morning, my daughter called me to let me know that Boss jumped over the six foot barrier between them and was holding his own.


Go figure.
After all that work.

Anyway, they have been fine since.
I’m so glad it worked out.
Thanks to everyone who offered advice!!!
