New rooster to hens

I have introduced many roosters to my hens, as I always loose the rooster protecting my hens. It always works out. They will peck, but learn quickly about each other. Once your girls are used to having a rooster you will find the next rooster you bring an easier transition. The hens will see "the man" then as head of the flock, and the hens will reorganize their flock to adjust to the new rooster.

There is actually a really great one on some rooster re homing group I'm in. Lady has this amazing rooster she has to get rid of, he lives in the house with her. She just stands holding him for like 10 minutes and he has his head to her and wings wrapped around her body. Its heartbreaking with a smile~
