or one of the things I decided to do today on my henhouse pen is running cedar fence boards along the bottom two high to reduce the wind, should work for that sort of pen as well

I did put a tarp on it this afternoon. The other I cut tin to kinda fit it so the birds are out of the wind and rain when roosting. Also made a laying box out of a 5 gal bucket to help protect the hen from rain.
