[Living that chicken life]

Couple of questions one ...some are darker some are lighter. As they turn to adults and their down goes away and feathers replace in yalls experience does the darker ones look different then the lighter ones or do they all look the same.....if they do differ can you explain...these are pulletts so no roos. Second question I have one who is a bully will she stay a bully or chill out

I have 4 sapphire gems, and they are all a little different. They all looked similar to each other as baby chicks, though.

I have 4 that were supposed to be, but 3 ended up being blue marans. My one that was turned out to be a roo. I am told this happens a ton with this particular breed. Hatchery’s just send whatever “blue” chicks they have. Hope you actually got what you asked for.

Hod did you figure it out? Blue marans look alot like sapphire gems right?

Yes but the marans have feathers on their feet.
